SAFETY MEASURES IN OUR DENTAL PRACTICE

Dentistry is an important part of the healthcare field. As an office, we have always practiced good infection control principles and use personal protective equipment (PPE) for our patient care. Our team members now follow these guidelines with greater attention to detail and you should notice our additional precautions taken. We have added additional PPE’s and as a team, we take our temperatures daily as a standard of good health.  Many of us have already been vaccinated for the Covid-19 virus. We encourage social distancing here, even as a team.

 Patient Appointments and Treatments

• As required by Utah State law, masks/face coverings must be worn by everyone entering our office.
• Social distancing is practiced in our office.
• Appointments are spaced more for patients to avoid contact with other patients.
• We prioritize high risk patients with early morning appointments for less contact with other people.
• Patients are encouraged to wait in their cars rather than in the waiting room to provide less contact with other people. However, patients who practice social distancing may wait in our waiting room for short time periods.

• Screening and consent forms are a part of our safety measures.
• Patients will be asked to Rinse with 1.5% Hydrogen Peroxide.

 Other Safety Measures After the Dental Treatment

• We encourage Apple Pay/Google Pay to minimize cash and card handling for payments. We also have Tap and Chip methods on our credit card processor.
• Surface cleaning and disinfection procedures are followed consistently and correctly. 
• Review of estimates and insurance forms can be carried out via phone call and sent via mail.

We are confident that these guidelines will help create a safe environment for all of our patients and our team members. Please know that we are doing everything in our power to provide the safest clinical conditions we can to protect you, our team and our families.
